I am looking for a Bluetooth->SPIDF/Coax converter to use with a DAC. I have two simple requirements.

1. Doesn't automatically power off if no transmitter is present
2. Doesn't look hideous

This is shockingly hard to find. #1 seems to eliminate all battery-powered Bluetooth receivers, even if connected via USB.

Luckily there is a "Ding Shine" model that satisfies #1, however it is one of the ugliest pieces of audio gear I've ever seen:

There is a version for $10 more without the "DING SHINE" text which is still incredibly ugly, but massively better.

Can anyone recommend a unit that satisfies both criteria?

I don't know if this isn't 'ugly' but this one has worked well for me (never turns off, 'set it and forget it' type of thing). BIG antenna though:

Yamaha YBA-11? Only downside is it doesn't auto-reconnect, though it does not power off.
