Hello, I recently bought a pair of Sennheiser HD595's and although I was impressed I wanted a little more volume and power. I use them exclusively on my PC that has a Realtek ALC892 soundcard. I started reading about amps and DACS, and due to a pricing error got the FiiO e9 desktop amp for $26 bucks. So my question is should I buy the e7 to pair with the e9 or is the e9 and my sound card sufficient? Thanks. btw if the e9 is good enough on its own what cord would I need to plug the amp into my computer?

You need a line-out on your computer to plug a 3.5mm cable into the line-in connection on the E9.
The cable doesnt have to be anything special, it just needs to fit both sockets, but if you want to spend $200 on something flash, go right ahead.
