I found a pair of Griffin Earjams at RS this afternoon and found these things are amazing. I couple them with my MX500, which to me is bass shy. Immediately, I pick up a lot of big sound out of the couple Earjams with MX500. The bass is significantly enhanced and the overall impact is something like full-sized cans. However, it's slightly less transparent than without the Earjams. By adjusting the position in ear, I can find a sweet point of tonal balance. But no matter what, it's worth the investment of $15.

Nearly £1000 on audio later, and I don't appear to be stopping.
