New Head-Fier
Hello head-fi community!
Recently I just got into headphones after looking at some videos (funny how easy it is for me, a guy, to pickup a new expensive "hobby" isnt it). Was looking around to see whats the latest and greatest and boy there are so many which is why I have come here to get some advise.
I think I have sort of settled on the Audeze Sine (or monoprices cheap offering but I havent seen many reviews on it) but maybe Im overlooking or havent looked at something thats out there and that's where Im looking to you expert for a bit of help. Here are some tidbits that may help in no particular order:
-i love bass
-i dont think ill be listening to much lossless music, mostly just streaming stuff, spotify mostly. But I do like knowing that if I ever do, the headphones can handle it.
-dont really want headphones with plastic hinges. My last cheap panasonic broke on me at the hinge. But maybe it was just that - cheap.
-$300-400ish range.
-most of the time just listening through the jack on my macbook pro.
