i like my super fi pro a lot and i don't have too much problem about fitting/comfort but it takes time(10, 20 seconds per ear) to get good seal. and i've been using sf pro for a year now. so i'm just wondering if taking on/off a custom iem easy?

Takes me 3 seconds to put my UE10 on, if I do both ears simultaneously.

Takes me 2 seconds when putting them on simultaneously, they slide on very comfortably. Removing them is even faster, about a second.

Once you learn how to do it, it doesn't take very long. I do suggest you go slow though, sometimes my Livewires would scratch my canals when I put them on too fast.
i forgot to tell, i've been using foam for my super fi pro. i have a shure se210 too and love it with the new black foam sleeves, olive foam. it's very comfortable and easy to insert(couple seconds max) too bad the shure cable broke AGAIN, or TWO TIMES in 7 months.

Something like that. I tilt the pieces a little forward and swivel them back and they just snap into my ears.

I tilt them 90 degrees towards you, fit the nozzle in my canal, and then twist it back 90 degrees and push the piece in.

Like the others said, you can't just push them straight in, I do a rock forward motion and then pull them back, as shown on the UE website

It's still my first week, the first five times or so it took me about ten seconds per ear and I used too much force when putting them in that it caused discomfort. After a few tries it just take a couple of seconds and it is very comfortable.

I don't think it takes much longer or shorter than universal tips, except for foams that you need to roll up first.
The customs might be a second or so faster, if you are slow with the whole "holding up your ear with the other hand" thing to straighten the canal.

Customs in acrylic are very easy to put in, silicon are a bit more difficult, whatever it's much more faster to use CIEMs than IEMs.

Holy resurrected thread!
But yeah, ease of insertion is in my book one of the main advantages of CIEMs over IEMs. IEMs can fit and isolate quite well. But to get there it takes time and patience (unless you are lucky and you have a "regular" inner ear shape, whatever that is). With CIEMs you insert, turn, push and it's in.
