Recently I want to buy an over-ear headphone to enjoy rock and metal music.
Bands like Pink Floyd, NIRVANA, Nightwish, Guns N' Roses are my dish. 
I find MDR7506 may be nice, but is it suitable for these types of music?
Guys I need your valuable advice, or you have some other recommendations for me at this price?

It has a lot of top end and some find it very sibilant. I love this headphone as long as it is eq'd. For the price, I think it's a great headphone.
 
If you listen loud, it may be too top end focused for you. Nice (seemingly) weighty bass but in reality it doesn't go that low.
 
If you use an Ipod type device that can run apps, (Touch or Iphone) there is an app called 'Accudio' which has a setting for the 7506 that just edges that griity top edge away enough to make it into a really lovely headphone, without taking away from the extension (which isn't that great in the treble either!!)
