I guess I won't be getting them...too bad, 'cause I'm getting really tired of my JVC Marshmallows and need some decent cheap IEMs without bloated bass (impossible?)

No. Skullcandy ingests fecal matter and orally copulates with barnyard animals.

But you've come to the right place. Read the threads and ask questions. There are good headphones out there and you'll learn about them. Just don't buy Skullcandys.

This pretty much sums it up...

I don't think anyone cares to find out.

Are Skullcandys any good?
Probably not, but probably better than most people in this topic make of them...

I hear that skullcandy, if you burn them in continuously until a week after you die, then beat high end Senns or Grados. Unfortunately no one ever gets to find this out because they're all dead. This is actually the story behind their name, and the inspiration behind their new marketing campaign aimed solely at the zombie demographic.

I still have the replacement tips lying around somewhere. :S

i kno, i think returning them as defective is the best thing i ever did. just looking at them out of the package, i cant believe how thin the cable was. i could easily see myself trashing those with little effort. and that volume control looks like a good place for problems too.

i've had the inkd inear buds about 6 months. they're really not too bad. not great, but not bad either, since they were only $9. skullcandy's low end stuff isn't really bad, but $10 is all you really want to spend with them anyway
