hi,
i'm going to purchase a w1000, but would like some thoughts on an amp to pair with. I have an xp-7, and was wondering if this amp would be good for the w1000's. from what I read, the W1000 has a somewhat thin midrange. I was wondering if the xp-7, which has nice lush midrange, could help alleviate that problem. I know this kind of simple equation doesn't really apply to audio gear, that's why i would like other head-fier's thoughts on this.
