I recently used 2-pin (female) to mmcx (male) adapter on EA cable for Solaris. Just noticed that I am no longer getting signal on my right side of IEM. I noticed IEM and adapter have no issue as they are still working on other device but EA cable still exhibits no signal on right side with other IEM.

Just wonder if this could be just a coincidence that this occurred or using adapter has anything to do with cable gone bad. Any idea?

Adapter vendor replied to me "There's absolutely no way the adapter can spoil a cable. Even if the polarity is reversed or shorted on the adapter" Perhaps, this was the cable gone bad at wrong time.

Perhaps you damaged the cable when attaching the adapter?
