I was listening to "Say Goodbye" by S Club 7 on my macbook and noticed distortion in the bass. I was trying the "Perfect" EQ for iTunes I found on the web. This is the only song that got distorted while trying that EQ out. The song doesn't distort with any other EQs though.

I don't know if the problem lies in my SE530s or the song+EQ. If you want to hear or try, here's the link for the song clip. It distorts at 32 and 35 seconds if I'm not mistaken. And here's the pic of the EQ setting.

I don't even know why this is a topic because you answered your own question in your first post?

iTunes EQ is ok when it's coming out of you computer depending on your hardware. The EQ from an iPod though... HORRIBLE. Distorts insanely no matter what you are playing. This goes for ALL iPods.

Its defiantly the EQ, it cranks the mid-bass way too much.. I don't like it at all..
