Is microdac compatable with I-audio X5?

Will Headrooms Microdac work with the I-Audio X5 via the usb port? I noticed on dap review the I-audo x5 could transfer info to a PSP. I was wandring if the same process would work with the Microdac?

I seriously doubt it. USB host capability is step one, but the player also has to have the ability to map audio to an external sound device. None, to my knowledge do.

I think the i-Audio I2 has digital out, which should work with a DAC such as the MicroDAC (unless outputting AC3 or DTS.)
Unfortunately at this time it's only available in Korea. I'm still looking for someone that imports and sells it in the US. Maybe AudioCubes could help us out here? I think there is a big gap left by the lack of digital out capable DAPs (or PMPs - personal media players?)
