To the OP's question - sure it makes sense as you'll get rid of op-amps in your signal path which is a step forward in streaming clean music to your headphones.

Regarding the AD8610/AD8620 - the B series does not sound harsh however I think that I still prefer the AD825, as besides the OPA604/OPA2604, it's a JFET op-amp not sounding "jfet"... and it's good.
