Is It the amp or is it the drivers that are clipping? Sony XB500?

Hello headfiers, i have an issue with my Sony XB500 headphones. I notice that when i crank up the volume on the fiio e11 very high, when the bass gets to a point when it becomes subwoofer crazy, i hear clipping sound from the drivers. I hear the clipping sound on the right driver first and when i increase the volume even more, the other starts to do it. I have noticed that i can only hear the clipping sound from bass frequencies. What i can identify is if the clipping sound is the drivers that can't take the bass, or is it the fiio e11 amplifier that delivers a clipping signal at high volume levels?

So what do you think and if you use the same amp (fiio e11) or a similar one, do you experience clipping sound on high bassy volume levels?

Could really be both. But if you make either the driver or the map clip, I think you might be listening a bit too loud
