Is it possible to connect these speakers to existing setup?

Hi all,

I've got a Massdrop CTH+SDAC/AMP and I usually use them with my headphones however I have come across a friend's Q Acoustics 2010 speakers which are attached to a APPJ PA0901A. Initially I plugged it into the R and L on the back of the Cavalli but then realised it wasn't an Out but an In so of course I felt like an idiot but I'd like to know if there is any way I can go about this without having to change hardware?

Cheers

Unless you can fiddle with the circuit on that, there's no way to use those together. You need a DAC-HPamp that has a line output from the DAC stage, or a preamp output if you're willing to ditch the APPJ for a pure power amp. Like maybe get an AudioGD NFB-11, configure its rear RCA output to fixed level Line Out, and then replace the CTH+SDAC.

Alternately you can get a Schiit Modi3 and Sys. Hook up the Modi3 to the "Output" (it's a passive preamp so it doesn't matter) and then hook up the CTH and APPJ to the "Inputs" (it's a passive preamp so it doesn't matter). Set the volume on the Sys to max (passive preamp) and you can use it as a switcher.
