Hi all:

Since I have received my new UM3X IEM's, I have noticed that the right side is just not as loud. That begs the questions, is it me, or the IEM's. I am not sure if maybe my hearing is worse in my right ear, or the IEM is damaged. It sounds like everything in the mix is slightly shifted to the left on every single recording.

What is everyone else's opinion?

id say that you should try cleaning out your right ear, but not with qtips, that would jsut exacerbate the situation. Use some pharmaceutical product to do so i would say

Did you tried to switch the IEM? Does the inbalance follows?

++ If the imbalance persists than it must be your ears. You either have a dominant ear, some unilateral hearing loss or perhaps just not getting a good seal in one ear cause your ears are shaped differently.
