Can anyone please tell me if hifigo.com is legitimate. Has anyone bought from them before?

I checked hifigo.com's reviews before purchasing:

https://www.resellerratings.com/store/HiFiGo
https://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/hifigo.com

It's just they sent a tracking number and told me to track with 17track.net. The status hasn't been updated in 5 days.

Now I check the reviews for 17track.net and it suggests that its a scam website:

https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.17track.net

Also the China Post tracking number does not work on other tracking websites.

I'm really worried I've been scammed.

27 january 2020 I bought 1More EHD9001TA ANC Acitve Noise Canceling Hybird Driver TWS Earbuds and it came to me yesterday with DHL. I live in Norway, and I think it is reasonable price, shipping and handling. 1More and Amazon do not send to Norway, so for me it is the reason I bought from HiFiGo. Did not know anything about HiFiGo, but I was surprised that I got these earbuds from HiFiGo before 1More and Amazon had listed them in store - they are brand new model.

I've ordered a couple of items from Hifigo in the last couple of months and have been very happy with the service. Tin T4, BTR5, and a wonderful Fiio M11 Pro. All have arrived within acceptable timeframes with shipping details available on dispatch. Delay with the BTR5 was communicated and my queries answered in a very timely manner by Candice. Looking at the Moondrop Starfield and if i do press the button it will be with Hifigo.

When i was looking for options other than Linsoul and Amazon I was unsure about hifigo and had read this thread before ordering. Hopefully, my comments help others.

When I shopped their site for the new Hidizs AP80 Pro, they emailed a discount code if I purchased the unit. They confirmed my order then, without notifying me, they processed an additional charge--they were the payee according to my bank. They immediately cancelled my order saying the address of my IPA was not the same as my shipping address. Like many of us, I use a VPN so my IPA is across the country. To date, no refund. BE VERY WARY OF THIS VENDOR. PROTECT YOURSELF WITH A CREDIT CARD.

Any updates? I was considering buying some headphones from them and your feedback would really help me save some money:)

This is also very worrying. How did that end up and how long have it been since you did the payment?

Neither of those guys have been back since their postings - check their info / last login, I don't think you'll get an answer from either.

I've bought a number of items from Hifigo over the last 6-7 months. I started small - my first order was a BTR5 case, Blon BL-03, 16 core silver plated cable, about $65 - ordered Feb 3 just before the China lockdown - Hifigo shipped my order their first day back on March 17th.

Every other order and shipment since has been much quicker, 3 days to 14 days depending on how much I want to pay in shipping - DHL / Fedex is quickest - China post slowest, they have other carriers that vary that are somewhere in between. I'm in N.California.

The last items I ordered from Hifigo were the Topping A90 / D90 MQA, TinHifi P1, Dunu DK2001, and coming up next I think I'll be ordering the iBasso SR-2.

I feel comfortable in recommending others order from Hifigo. :)

I see Hifigo has an AliExpress store presence too - I'll still order / buy direct from Hifigo.com, but perhaps others have a preference in buying through AliExpress?

Update 11-11-21 - A little while ago I asked Hifigo why they left Aliexpress, they said they found the shipping options too limiting - something Hifigo makes great effort in providing flexible and quick to respond changes due to the pandemic so they prefer their own hifigo.com site sales option - and they have launched their Amazon.com store:

I bought multiple times from hifigo and their aliexpress shop. No issues, very good service. Received all my gear fast.

Only thing is they sometimes ain't the cheapest compared to some other aliexpress vendors. And i think their hifigo shop itself has no more free shipping option cause covid delayed logistics. So they charge for a priority delivery via their hifigo shop. Well i have sometimes not received items from other aliexpress vendors via free shipping so some may wanna pay a bit more for a piece of mind.

Unfortunately, I have to report negative experiences with hifigo.
New on the market and in stock and Fiio headphones ordered by express, were not shipped for days because they were not in stock.
Shipped days later, in the meantime they are even offered cheaper ....... but they are still not delivered. Unfortunately everything was done badly by Hifigo ....

So far I have had good experiences with moon Audio and similar dealers :relaxed:

Sorry I've been away for a while. Everything was fine with Hifigo.com. In fact I bought them again recently, this time a load of Aune gear from them at Black Friday.

Anyone from Europe buying from them that could tell their experience regarding taxes and customs? How did it go? Were they paid for or managed to get through without payment?
