I just got the PRO 900 with a FiiO E7, I was wondering should I be using a different amp, if so what would be a better amp for the PRO 900?

The PRO900 needs very little amplification, it does benefit from amplification, but it only takes a touch. You don't need more than the E7 provides. I think you may find the brightness of the PRO900 with the brightness of the E7 to perhaps be super bright. But other than that, it will power it fine.

I prefer the E11 with the Pro 900, but it's not that much of a difference over the E7, so I'd say you're fine, assuming you don't have the cash to blow on the really nice portable amps.

Thanks for all of the replies!  I am using spotify as a source, which high quality streaming enabled.  I did find them a little bright, but they don't seem as bright now since I have been listening to the headphones.
