I'm told c after e4 will have bass booster for customer which I found a bit too annoying compared to etymotic's series. If e4 has less bass boost, I would like to give it a try with that.

The E4 and E4c are the same except for cosmetics. The E4c is white; the E4 is dark grey. They use the same drivers and sound identical.
