So, when the bass hits on some songs, i get this irritating "buzz" kind of noise from the left cup on my hd600. Noticed it a couple of days ago, and today I downloaded a bass frequency sweep mp3 and listened to it, and the buzz was there, it's almost as if something is hitting the speaker diaphrame.

Anyone else had this?

I'm thinking about sending the cans back (still have warranty).

You may have a hair or something in the drivers. Try blowing throught the earcup.

Remove the ear pads and check to see if there is any hair traped around the driver or in the piece of foam that covers it. If there is some hair trapped in there it can make a buzzy sound like that

Audigy 2, and it's not the source i'm pretty sure, never heard the noise before except last couple of days.

As for the hair, i need to check that!

I opened the cup, and what i found wasn't actually A hair... there was a frickin pile of hair.

Got rid of that, and as if through magic, the buzz is gone.

God what an obvious solution i never thinked of.

Thanks
