I like the sound of my imp550 better than the ipod. Simple as that.. Nothing huge, but that is my preference.

Iriver generally sounds better.

H120, and the H10 are better, I know that at least.

It's hard to compare the sound of a cd/mp3 player to a minidrive player isn't it? I have an old mp550- I think the sound on my iriver 320 and h10 is superior to that. I don't have a ipod.
