iRiver is releasing the iHP-115, a 15 GB-version of the iHP-100, within short terms.

No idea as for what releasedates are being scheduled for Europe and America. Price fixing is aroun 528.000 Won, or 450 Euro's... Compared to 400 Euro's for the iHP-100, I can hardly imagine that this situation will exist very long.

That's very cool. I bet they follow a similar timeline and this hits the U.S. (and Europe?) 1-2 months following the Korean release. So do you think we'll se a 20gig or larger version in November or so?

Hmm dunno. There's a buzz going on that the iHP-115 will only be available in South-Korea...

... which means we will have to wait for the 20 GB-version. Given the fact that Samsung's YP-900 now uses a new 20 GB HDD, I'm pretty sure that iRiver could fit that into their iHP-machine... don't see what's all the fuzz is about. Maybe it's a lack of decent 1.8" high-capacity (20 GB or more) HDD's on the market.

I dunno Austonia, I'm figuring that by that time, Apple, Creative and iRiver will most likely release a product that hooks directly up to our brain so that no headphones or hard drives are even necessary. Just some software to upload to the medula oblongata and BAM ! Lossless data streaming straight accross the receptors ! No limits baby !

yeah, I posted about this the other day asking about it, you can get it on J&R's site...but amazingly, I just checked and it's not there anymore (used search), whatever, I think the price was $500

I could've sworn I'd already passed 1030, whatever...must lose more posts...haha I actually have 1132
