Hi,,

how is the iriver igp-100?
it has a 1.5GB microdrive,, and i know that the muvo2 1.5GB and the rio nitrous 1.5 GB have many problems in their microdrive.
is it the same drive the they have?
if not, how is it in general?

yeah it's the same Cornice drive. and no, the Muvo2 and Nitrus do not have any excessive problems with the drive. I've got them both, no problems.

but considering the iGP still sells for $200+, you're better off with any of the alternatives. It's frikken huge for what is supposed to be a mini-player.

I know u have a lot of experience, but i read that many nitrous and muvo21.5 have been returned to the companies.
is it safe to buy one of these? and what's better, the muvo2 1.5GB (if there are no problems) or the IGP-100?

my friend has a iGP, i have noticed that iGP's a US only model, and the firmwares are being written by korean programmers, which explains why there's no firmware update for the iGP
