So I'm thinking about getting a flash player as I intend to take up jogging/running or maybe get a bike again (last one got stolen), and I'm smart enough to know that a hard drive is the worst thing to have in either situation. I'm not really a fan of Rio, so I'm looking at either the new iRivers or importing the fantastic looking iAudio 4. Any other suggestions are welcome, but I'd like sound quality to still pretty much be the key part. While there are a few things that my iHP120 could improve in on sound quality, it seems that flash players by standard are worse than most hard drive based units, and iRiver has seemingly been the king in the flash department. I'm mostly looking for 256MB (512MB isn't worth paying for and 128MB is too small for me), radio is optional but welcome, and Mac support. Other than that, it's whatever you guys think I might find important about a specific unit or flash players in general. My only complaint so far about the iRivers is I don't really like the color scheme for the 256MB size for the 7xx and 8xx series but that's liveable. The only thing that really appeals to me about the iAudio is the fact that it is not at all known really and the color screen is a beautiful thing, no matter how unnecessary. I'm avoiding Rio because I really prefer the tube form, not the flat roundish oversized coin thing.
Any suggestions, thoughts, input?
