The 799 and the 899 have the same chips inside just with a different external design, the 999 on the other hand has a color screen.
They are really good players(I have a ifp 795).

Forget about those iRiver series. I was considering those for a long time until I discovered the iAudio U2, which is greater than all.

i dont think Cowon delivers to canada. doesnt iriver have a more superior sound quality than cowons? if they dont, than i would definitly consider the iAudio5 model(2gigs).
