Morning all.

I have recently been clearing out the unplayed rubbish on my H140 hard drive - and now have 30 gb free!

Since I have a large number of files in Apple lossless I thought I would try and copy some over to play. Result no music.

I can see the Album name i.e. folder on the H140 but none of the sub-files which actually contain the music. Yet when I view the contents of the H140 drive on my PC they are all there.

What am I doing wrong please?

Download dBpoweramp and batch convert the files to something your player will play.

you're not doing anything wrong. An iriver won't play apple lossless.

Check the manual to find out what it will play. You might be able to find a program to convert from apple lossless to something that the iriver does play.

Thanks guys H140 now Rockboxed and happily plays Apple Lossless.

A bit of a pain to do but well worth the effort - should have done it ages ago!

Rockbox Rocks.
Your IHP can now display greyscale artwork. Leave a jpg of your album art in each directory, and you can display the jpg by clicking on it in Rockbox.
