I am looking for a nice cable to play my music from my ipod through my Sony amp.

My budget is about $100 + Shipping. Could someone recommend me a good one.

I was thinking about this one:

because i plan to get an imod in the near future, however will this cable satisfy me using a standard 8gb ipod for the time being?

Edit: Am i being an idiot, does the standard ipod battery plug slot not serve as an output for sound, where as it does on the Imod?

Kind Regards,

Ben

um. You only have one choice on your budget, literally and it even surpasses it by $10 + shipping. Since you need a special ALO iMod line out dock that only they make with the blackgate caps built in, its 110 for the lowest model, unless you get the female mini to mini connector for $85 plus shipping and connect a cheap mini to mini cable which kind of defeats the purpose in my opinion. Anyway, here you go.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure the line out should still work, but I assume you are talking about a nano since its 8gb. I still believe it should work.

I would buy an inexpensive female dock from sendstation or Turbo (about $30), then I would go to Blue Jean Cable and send them an email on a 3 feet long mini to rca (aobut $35 w/ S&H). Later as you buy your iModded iPod you can get the female dock/ with the black gates and you can still use the mini to rca cable from Blue Jean Cable.
