IPOD mixing up order of albums

On some of my mp3s, although they are tagged correctly, when I import the tracks to my 5 gen 60 gig and my 5.5 gen 80 gig, the track order is all whacked out. Has anyone on this forum experienced this, or does anyone know a fix or work around?

I've had that happen to me once - it seems to be a problem with the database. Try reloading the album onto your iPod, sometimes that helps. If not, restore your iPod... if that doesn't work, something must be wrong with your tags somewhere

Yeah, I think it's the ID3 tags... sometimes certain tracks have extra info (composer, Year (?), CD 1 of 1, etc) that causes them to be placed in a different order. Go into iTunes and then select a song you're having trouble with. Right click -> Get Info, then check out the 'Info' tab to see if it matches up w/ the other tracks.
