My iPOD is the standard size 10G I bought last year. The problem is - the power cuts off at random times, regardless of charge level. It has done that periodicly since I have owned it. I turn it on, get the album selected, volume set and lock it in place...after 15 minutes or so, it just cuts off. I still have the extended warranty, but concerned that if I take it back to Circuit City it may be returned to me worse than it is now. Anyone have similar problems ? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Dave

My 30G iPod did the same thing. I brought it back to BestBuy where I bought it and since they were out of them, they exchanged it for a 40G model and haven't seen the problem since.

Thank you for the info. There is comfort in knowing others have had this problem. I will take the iPOD back to Circuit City soon. I am not very anxious to part with it, so hopefully they will offer me an exchange on the spot. I just received my e3c's and am falling in love with the sound ! Shure sends a number of ear plug cushions, and so far I have found the yellow foam ones work the best. They shut out most outside noise and the sounds really come alive without distortion and at low volume. I will post back what Circuit City does to resolve the iPOD problem. Dave
