Hi,

I am thinking of transferring from my ipod classic 240gb (upgrade) to the higher quality Fiio X3.

The problem is that my mp3 file library is around 170GB at present, and the Fiio X3 uses a maximum of a 64GB micro SDXC cards.

I currently use 'Copytrans manager' to organise my music file library, and can find no way of picking out or transferring my files in to my desired genres to copy to individual Micro sdxc cards.

Would I transfer the library back to itunes and pay out for 'tunespan' to achieve this aim? Does 'tunespan' work on a PC?

Or is there a cheap, or free method to do this?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hi,

I contacted copytrans manager directly, and they came back advising me how to pick out and save to individual files on to ext. hdd or even micro cards.

There is no need to transfer my library to itunes with copytrans, as it is possible to manually choose which genres and files I like, and save them wherever I choose.

This information may be handy to anybody else who is interested.

So my question is now which Sandisk card is the most suitable for the Fiio X3?

I know sandisk is recommended so is this:

SANDISK ULTRA SDXC CLASS 10 64GB 30MB/SEC UHS-I

or:

SANDISK ULTRA SDXC CLASS 10 64GB 45MB/SEC UHS-I

Will it the mb/sec make any difference to the performance of the Fiio X3?

Cheers,
