Hello all, I recently won the bid on the first generation Porta Corda here at HIFi.
I've hooked this with my Ipod. All I can say is WOW! WOW!. This thing is amazing. Jan has done a outrstanding job on this. There is no comparision between this and my Total Airhead. This lil amp has POWER! It sounds very clean at low levels. Open soundstage.
Often I read posts on what to use with an Ipod, let me tell you this is it! I can just imagine how the second genration Porta Corda sounds. Nice thing, my second generation slip cover fits perfect with this.
If your looking for a portable amp, this does the job nicely. feeds my SR325's with ease.
