white or black?

When I got my first iPod (the 5th Gen was just announced), I went white because I thought the black simply wasn't iPod-ish. But after awhile, the black grew on me, and after selling my old iPod, I got a black 5.5G iMod.

Yes, the fingerprints, oils, whatnot will show on it, but as soon as I got it, I slipped it into an iSkin eVo3 case, and had no worries with it. At least put a BSE (bestskinsever.com) on it.

i had a white one (the very first ipods) then i later bought a black 5.5 gen. got rid of that, but will by buying another one. i have a black macbook, and love black, but im thinking the white is a nice color to have. though i love the black...

Black for me as well. I even have black IEMs to match.

Had a white 4G iMod in a Black case...so the 5.5G Black iMod was a no brainer.

White if you don't plan to use a case, because black shows scratches quite well.
If choosing based strictly upon color preference, I would take the black hands down.
