Hey all, I just got my MS-1's a few days ago and absolutely love them.
The sound difference between my previous headphones compared to the MS-1's is tremendous, and my music listening experience has defintely changed. However now I have become a bit greedy

and am looking for a portable amp that would give the MS-1's an extra kick.
What I listen to mostly is Classical music (ranging from solos to large orchestral works, from romanticism to contemporary material).
Additionally I listen to rock (alternative, progressive for instance I love Tool) and Jrock. I am looking for amps that will push my MS-1's more and will wow me further. My budget rill range from $100-150. Thank you very much!!!

I like the title of your thread. Succinct!

Xin SuperMicro. It's just $30 over the high end of your budget. Everything else that makes sense is even more expensive - and few will sound as good.

Yes, you will have to wait.... but if you pay by credit card you won't be charged until it's shipped a few month down the road which will give you time to save those extra dollars.

I think the Xin recommendation is a good one. On the other end of your budget, take a look at a Go-Vibe v6. IMO, the Go-Vibe v5 with LM6172 has a special synergy with grados, and I assume the v6 with LM6172 would be the same. Plus, the price is hard to beat right now.
