iPhone 6s and using a rsa p-51 possible?

I’m looking to pick up a used p-51 and wondering if the amp would work with the iPhone 6s. Would I connect it through 3.5mm hp jacks? Thanks

A 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable from iPhone headphone out to line-in of the P-51 would work. Just keep in mind that way is not the most optimal setup. You would be double amping the signal which may not be the cleanest sound as the iPhone headphone out is not a flat line-out.

If you do decide to do it though put the phone volume to 85 to 90% max volume to prevent distortion/sound artifacts before controlling the volume through the P-51.

Double amping can be just fine though as I use to double amp a Cowon D2 to great effect. I also own an RSA P-51 myself and it still is a great little amp.

Dug a little deeper and found the dragonfly red. I’m pretty pleased with it.
