After playing with my new ipad for a week I finally got around to plugging my triple.fis in for my first apple audio experience. This is the standard triple, not the vi. I was surprised to find that the ipad jack was too large for my earphones and no connection could be made.
Do I need some kind of adapter, or is there a defect in the ipad?
Thanks,
Sandy.

Must be old age. I really pushed on the jack and it clicked in. No problem now.

Anyways, the Ipad is quite the gizmo. It removes you from the standard computer setting / mindset and provides a seamless flow of cyber environments from web, to music, to games, to books, to maps, to video to reference sources, to just about anything. It is comfortable to use and screen size is a good compromise between portability and viewability. Apple still maintains its reputation for being obnoxious in some of its policies, but there's no denying that the Ipad is a big step in the integration of computers and everyday life.
