For anybody that has a jailbroken IOS device there is a Cydia app called Volume Step that will increase the control we have over the volume. Ive heard people complain about IOS only having 16 steps in their volume control which can make it hard to listen at the exact volume we desire. Volume Step is adjustable so you can fine tune exactly what each click of the volume buttons do. I have mine set to 50%, so it doubles the amount of steps in the volume control. Now its not going from quiet to loud or vise versa with just one click. I can listen at exactly the level i want. There is also another jailbreak app called MyVolume that is designed to do the same thing. Ive used both and Volume Step is simpler, easier to use, and works better in my opinion.

So anybody that uses an IOS device as a music player should check it out. It makes my iPhone 4 a much better media player.
