The HM-901 supports MP3.

I think so too but mine don't play , only plays flac wav and high resolution files, my hm-901 restart when i try to play mp3 files

To me is not a problem because don't make much sense play mp3 in such a hi performance device, im just wondering if it is a malfunction the firmware is the latest

Could be a bug. I suggest contacting HIFIMAN about this issue.

I already send them a email, i will try to reinstall the lastest firmware to see if it works

I allready reinstall the last firmware and there is no diferences, hifiman didn't answer my email
