Their drivers are the same, only the internal acoustical changed, but any acoustical structure changed will influence the overall sound and performance.
Just like the change of Silicone eartips against foam tips .

I see. I'm aware of the fact that better acoustic structure could improve the sound, but in this case it seems to be only a minor improvement. I don't think my impressions will change from disappointed to love if the drivers are same. Gotta think again about the purchase I guess. Regardless, thanks for the reply!

This is the comparison of mid and high between our LHF-AE1d Ti VS LUF-A1d Ti.
we thought this might be easier to show the difference as well.
2dB for a grid.
