RHA has announced that it will launch three new products as part of a collection of specialist, high-resolution personal audio equipment at IFA 2016.

The new range includes the company’s first portable DAC and headphone amplifier, the Dacamp L1, and two high-resolution in-ear headphones, the flagship CL1 Ceramic and the stainless steel CL750.

“This new collection has been developed for users who demand more from personal audio, our goal being to replicate full hi-fi experiences on the go,” explained RHA Product Director, Lewis Heath. “Launching a brand new, specialist range of products that represent our commitment to innovation in technology, design and manufacturing is the perfect way to mark the fifth anniversary of the company’s founding.”

All three products will be available to audition at IFA 2016 in Berlin from 2-7 September before debuting in the USA at CanJam @ RMAF 2016.

Dacamp L1
The Dacamp L1 is a fully balanced headphone amplifier and DAC with dedicated channel processors. RHA’s first product in the category, the Dacamp L1 uses an ES9018K2M DAC chip and class AB amplifier for each stereo channel; a configuration which enables the processing of the highest quality digital audio files from mobile and desktop source devices. The Dacamp L1 transmits high-resolution analogue audio signals to a wide range of headphones via balanced or unbalanced outputs.

Dacamp L1 features:
  1. Dual ESS Sabre ES9018K2M DACs & class AB amplifiers
  2. Support for high-resolution audio formats up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM and 11.2MHz DSD
  3. Headphone outputs: 4-pin Mini XLR (balanced), 3.5mm
  4. Digital inputs: USB A, USB B Micro, mini TOSLINK (optical)
  5. Compatibility: Mobile and desktop devices including Android, PC, Mac, iOS (MFi certified)
  6. 4000mAh li-ion battery for 10-hour battery life with power pack function
  7. Three level gain control and EQ dials for bass/treble attenuation.

MSRP: £399.95 / $549.95

CL1 Ceramic
Optimised for use with amplifiers, the CL1 Ceramic combines two unique transducer technologies to exert unprecedented levels of control over an extended frequency range. The headphone’s CL Dynamic transducer has been engineered for bass and midrange accuracy, while the ceramic plate driver generates precise upper frequency and harmonic tones.
The CL1 also features RHA’s first high-density ceramic housings and detachable cable system with mouldable over-ear hooks, affording high levels of both durability and comfort.

CL1 features:
  1. High-resolution, dual transducer configuration: CL Dynamic and ceramic plate drivers
  2. High-density, injection moulded ZrO2 ceramic housings
  3. Custom detachable cable system (sMMCX)
  4. Braided Ag4x silver-core (4-pin Mini XLR) and OFC (3.5mm/6.25mm) cables included
  5. Mouldable, comfort-enhancing over-ear hooks
  6. Accessories: 11 pairs of silicone and Comply™ foam ear tips, clothing clip, protector case and cleaning cloth.

MSRP: £349.95 / $449.95

CL750
The CL750 uses RHA’s ultra-wideband CL Dynamic transducer for authentic sound reproduction up to 45kHz. Drawing inspiration from the critically-acclaimed MA750, it features stainless steel housings in RHA’s Aerophonic™ design, in addition to a new braided OFC cable. With an impedance of 150 ohms, the CL750 is optimised for use with amplifiers, and is certified as high-resolution audio capable by the Japan Audio Society.

CL750 features:
  1. Ultra-wideband CL Dynamic transducer
  2. Stainless steel driver housings in Aerophonic™ design
  3. Braided OFC cable with 3.5mm or 6.25mm terminations
  4. Flexible over-ear hooks
  5. Accessories: 11 pairs of silicone and Comply™ foam ear tips, clothing clip and protector case.

MSRP: £99.95 / $139.95

Products will be on sale from October 2016, international review tours to be arranged following the conclusion of IFA 2016.

Always interested in seeing more piezoelectric + dynamic hybrids. Hopefully these will be well ahead of Radius Japan's DDMs

Consider me very interested, very interested indeed.

We need a confirmation of whether the 3.5mm is TRS or TRRS. The Dacamp says fully balanced, but I understand having a TRS output. I think the Dacamp needs two balanced converters for that mini-XLR port, you know the ones. Very clever using the mini 4-pin. I like it.

- Super interested in that Dacamp L1 since I'm looking at moving up from the HA-2. I now have to add this to the list along with the Mojo.
- Somewhat interested in the CL1 since I was a fan of the T20 but my IEM game is strong right now. I don't need these problems :/
