Brand-New Shanling Streaming System

Utilizing an upgraded 64-bit ARM Cortex CPU, the system of SM1.3 was developed from the ground up for the new generation of Shanling Streamers. Deeply customized closed Android 12 system, built with the high standards set by other Hi-Fi streamers and closely following the feedback of our customers.

Freshly designed UI focuses on simpler and faster access to all levels of the system, with further optimized main menu, settings and playback controls. Reduced number of elements and clear labelling leads to a cleaner-looking system that’s swift to navigate through. Fully operated by 5.8-inch 1080p Touch Screen or through our new Eddict Controller App.

Updated Streaming

With Streaming apps directly at hand, you can enjoy Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Apple Music, Apple Classical, Amazon Music, Presto Music or KKBox. And with our new system for app updates, your streaming will always be up-to-date.

Alongside NAS, Samba, DLNA & Airplay 2 support for a deeper integration into many streaming environments.

High-End Sound Performance

Following the high standards of sound quality set by our SCD1.3 SACD Player, SM1.3 utilizes the same flagship AKM AK4499EX & AK4191 system at its center. Highly detailed, with a vast and precise soundstage, yet adding a bit of warmth and smoothness, for the best natural sounding tuning.

Offering RCA and XLR outputs, running either in pure line-out mode or acting as a top-quality pre-amplifier, SM1.3 serves as an excellent DAC for any speaker setup. And for headphone users, our dedicated 6.35mm TPA6120 headphone output provides a simple solution suited for a wide range of audiophile full-size headphones.

Hi-Fi Grade Power Supply - Dual 31W Toroidal Transformers

By using two linear transformers, we are creating a special system of power division between the Streamer and Audio sections of the SM1.3, eliminating any harmful interferences between the two halves of the device.

Linear power supply is especially crucial for the analog section of the SM1.3, providing cleaner and more stable power than one can get from the switching power supply. As a dedicated Hi-Fi Streamer, this improved power supply is so important for true high-fidelity sound.

Advanced Digital Transport – FPGA Powered I2S

Apart from its functionality as DAC, SM1.3 will also shine as digital transport thanks to its advanced I2S output. By featuring a dedicated FPGA circuit, the device can easily adjust its I2S pinout, for assured compatibility with pretty much all DACs on the market.

SM1.3 also offers our bi-perfect USB Audio output, alongside standard coaxial and optical SPDIF.

Oh no, not again the same story as with EM5: Good hardware and sound, but poor software does not give a pleasant experience. 😒

Don't forget the EH3 serie too!
I call it abandonware.
Just released, full of denied bugs that never get fix and next year a new hardware hit the market.
Resell value is catastrophic.

@Shanling Any reviews yet? I would be curious to see how the SM1.3 performs compared to the FiiO R9 and the Naime Uniti Atom HE
