Introducing Shanling M30 - Modular Desktop Hi-Fi Streaming Player

Thx Vince
Even if it was on pair I have to say that after trying out so many options M30 Shanling house sound signature and SQ performance in terms of resolution, detail, layering and analogue texture is the best experience so far to my taste.
My Denon AH-D9200 never sounded so good before without having the feeling to compromise one aspect like musicality and timbre for another like resolution and detail.
Now more looking into getting the nice set of complementing cans to enjoy it

My m30 is not switching on battery was charged to around 60percent way should I do?
Plug into the charger for 30 minutes, turn to the bottom to see if the battery modules display charge and batteries LED ? If it does then leave it there for 30 minutes and then press, hold power button for 20 seconds

just one hint as long as Apple Music isn't supported on M30 natively I have switched to playing from my iPad Pro rather than from my MacBook Pro.
Reason is the bad implementation of MacOS regarding playing bit perfect to connected DACs.
IOS is capable of switching bit rate according to the played song automatically.
in MacOS you can only set one system wide bit rate unless A REAL EXCLUSIVE mode isn't overriding it.
However that real exclusive mode doesn't work anywhere but Audirvana from what I have experienced. Maybe Quobuz does work but that'S the only service where I am not subscribed to
In all other apps MAcOS is resampling the apps bit rate to the rate set in the audio-midi-mixer.
So in order to not compromise you'd need to switch the systems bit rate for each song played manually!!!
Really a shame and that issue is know for years as it seems.
So imho best choices
1.) local playback
2.) IOS playback to M30 in DAC mode
3.) Android playback out of real bit perfect apps such as UApp or Neutron to M30 in DAC mode
4.) MAcOS playback out of real bit perfect apps such as Audirvana (and which other apps do you guys know there?)

It has arrived! Currently scanning songs, can’t wait to sink my teeth into this.

Congrats!

If I recall correctly you have a ZMF VC no?

Any very initial thoughts on the pairing?

And if no VC, any initial thoughts in general?

I've only done preliminary listening (half hour on VC). I've never heard VC bass sound this deep before (transistor mode, dual DAC, medium gain). Best way to describe it is a powerful clean sound with a bass which seems to extend into the ground endlessly. This clean yet POWER sound applies to all aspects of the sound, but I'm appreciating it the most in the bass frequencies. Shanling M8 gave a preview of what I'm hearing now. This is difficult to describe, but I don't see myself using another gear with VC anytime soon.

Exciting isn’t it ? I can’t wait to hear more about what Shanling May bring to the M30. Especially the DAC and Digital modules, the Digital is using older SOC 440 I believe, and it still do SRC —> DSD256 and 368Khz effortlessly
