Yes, it’s a little bit too much atm. I’m going to sell the HE-400 und LCD-2s soon. I guess I’m more into bright orthos, so I will keep the HE-500 as my main headphone.
But for some of my music it’s still a bit too bright, especially with some Death Metal music. So I would like to try out the LCD-X in the near future. Maybe it will be my perfect headphone. From what I’ve read it should match my liking pretty well. Time will tell…

I'd think if you sold all 3 of your Ortho's you might be able to afford the LCD X! Might be worth a shot :3
