hello i have both, i love both the lotoo has more power available but the QP1R has more than enough power, soundwise both shine , Qp1r more "organic" (class a current mode) the Paw gold is organic but with more dynamic and transparency wich give the illusion of a less organic sound compared with qp1r , both give a blowing mind soundstage and yes the Paw Gold has a better bassi don't have a ak380 but my ak240 in balanced mode with my angies give a dense and strong sound that is excelent , i like it very much

Many thanks for all your views. Would you say the price difference is justified with lotoo paw. I just love its solidness, i am so impressed with qp1r but am always looking for that bit extra and it seems that is in the bass, i love hearing good percussion drums etc and its good with qp1r. Having sold ak240 ss i do not miss it one little bit. Saw the copper version of 380 does look nice but thats all.

I have the Questyle QP1R, Lotoo Paw Gold Diana, and the Sony NW-WM1A in my DAP stable. All are musts for me. I love each for different reasons. I believe my QP1R is the most musical. Diana is most aggressive and detailed. I am in love with Sony's user interface and battery life.

Tried Superstition with my Lotoo and Grado RS1e's. Indeed fabulous. If you go to the Motown Museum in Detroit, you will be in the studio where that was recorded, and where they had a huge acoustic passage for the studio in the basement to the empty attic to add the reverberation, in a physical not electronic way, that is on the recording.

I enjoy the pairing. I wont lead you one way or another with SQ fluff, but if you could have a listen I believe you would enjoy the pairing also (unless you are into bass cannons of which the 800S are not)
