oh so there's no need for a replacement cable then. Good to know!
Only if you want to go balance
ALO copper Litz w angled 2.5 cable under 100, Sony all copper 4.4 cable around 170. Both great
Cables make a very noticeable difference with the CL2. Soundstage, resolution, etc etc.
After a few days only cl2s I switched to Solaris . And i can say the cl2 outperform these in terms of detail retrieval.. that’s stunning. They are easier to catch with the cl2s . Can’t wait for my new cable for the cl2 .. forza audio pure copper mk2 .
How are you liking the stock copper?
Do you understand now why I thought the Solaris sounded too "thick"?
lol just fyi, all of my iem sounds thick except er2se, isine20, zs5. Other than that i hear upper bass bleeds everywhere in the vocals. Including andros. So, kinda excited to get this on satuday. I believe this one has no upper bass bleeds.
edit: i get this along with KSE1200, with intention of returning one of them and im now wishing that i will satisfy with cl2 and return the kse1200 because it's too expensive
You just saved me $1500, thank you. I was seriously considering the Solaris. I love the cl2 so much I bought a second pair, $453 on Amazon. No Solaris for me!!!
Now wondering if anyone can save me $1000 and tell me the cl2 outperform the fearless Roland!!!!! Please, save me the money!
Wouldn’t say solaris is to thick .. the cl2 is just faster .
Haha Ure welcome
Solaris is an nice iem . But save the money ... I haven’t heard the Roland yet ....
Can’t say much to it , cause I don’t use the 3.5 output ... I love the 4.4 out from my cowon . I hope I get my new cable next week.
solairs has a more holographic soundstage . But you get faster better mids with more body @ cl2 .
Details are present on both but with cl2 it’s just impossible to miss something .. they are faster for sure.
Bass is well done on both , but its planar vs DD .. dunno I like both very much
Cl2 $475 vs Solaris $1500. Doesn't sound like Solaris are 300% better
No .. they are not .
almost everything is like that. Diminishing return is too much for you to justify.
