Hello Everyone,

My name is Chris, and I'm new here. I created a profile several weeks ago in hope of posting some product reviews, but thought I should follow procedure and introduce myself first. I was referred here by a friend, who was also kind enough to help me acquire two pairs of IEMs: Westone W-
40s, and AAW Nebula2s. I plan to review the latter very shortly.

This is really my first experience with good audio equipment, but my first time with IEMs instead of my usual fare
(i.e. cheap earbuds) was mind blowing. You might say that I've taken the red pill, and there's no going back!

:)

Welcome aboard Chris. Glad to see the introduction. My suggestion is read as much as you can and ask questions. There is so much info out there and so many different ideals and tastes it can all get confusing. We are always learning something new, including us oldtimers that have been around 10 plus years. Allow your ears to be the judge., but also pay attention to the science and engineering aspects, but above all, love the music and have a blast. Oh and sorry about your wallet. You know i am here if you need anything.

I'm new here, too. And I have no idea how to upload an avatar or create a community profile. I can't find these features.

Please check your PMs, as there should be a message to you explaining the ins and outs of the forum. Some things you want to do will only require time. Welcome to head-fi, and sorry about your wallet.

I read the introductory PM--no mention that I won't be able to edit my profile or upload an avatar. I must've done something wrong. Only time will tell, I guess.

And yeah, I'm always looking to save money... not to pay bills or anything but to get more audio equipment.

I think it just takes time. Many people seem to run into that problem when they first join. I myself waited a few weeks before changing my avatar, so I cannot tell you how long it will take for you to be able to edit your profile, but I do not think you have done anything wrong.

"Your Community Profile is the place for you to tell other members of the community a little bit about yourself.  You can edit your community profile after you have made 10 posts, or have been a member of Head-Fi for 15 days."
