I anticipated a few problems would come up during my move from Florida to New York, but never expected it would take over 2 weeks to get cable / phone / Internet service.
The drive up in a Penske truck loaded down with all of our worthless belongings wasn't bad at all. Loaded up and left on a Tuesday, arrived at our new home on Friday, June 29th.
Getting Cablevison to come out and deliver the equipment has been a nightmare! They finally made it out here on Saturday, July 15th. After 3 no-shows, I went to their office and that was enough to get it done the next day.
I'm so happy I can waste time on-line again and hear about the latest in headphone / DAC / other non-sense here!
Still looking for a good electronics supplier in Long Island. I actually went into Radio Shack today to pick up fuses for my subwoofer.
