Not sure if anyone has posted info on this before, but for those you who like to have a DVD-burner this seems like a pretty neat new product from Sony. Image you could burn a DVD with ~8 full CDs of .wavs or ~50 full CDs of .mp3 (at -APS). Plus it can also act as a CD-RW.

Can fit 9 CDs on a DVD. Can play two of them on one charge. Knowing Sony, that's actually half, so it can play almost a full CD on one charge, great logic

The other alternative is a super weedy 1.2mW headphone amp (Euro MZ-N710?

). So maybe 45 mins battery isn't too bad afterall.. I dunno. I dislike computer based optical (and MO) media.

pretty sure it wont burn dvd, only reads them (dvd-rom) and burns CD's...

who are you talking to? it doesnt burn DVDs.

oh lawd just try n navigate through 2000 MP3's on one DVD using that remote. bucket 'o fun. sony couldn't fit in a 3 or 4 line LCD on that thang? seems like a half-baked idea
