L&P R-2R DAP系列全新固件發佈
時隔4個月，L&P 內置工業級R-2R晶片的LP6系列與全分立R-2R P6系列正式版固件迎來更新！

姍姍來遲的「Z1R特調」
本次固件優化的重頭戲是SONY小Z1R的特調。這款兩圈一鐵的索尼旗艦IEM素質優異、潛力頗大，其相對刺激的風格與柔中帶剛的R-2R機型頗為契合，因此很受L&P 用戶喜愛。在幾位Z1R用戶的回饋下，我們在今年的第一季度著力給其做調音優化。

這是最新內測版本的燒友回饋。由於調音是一個「科學設計」+「主觀感受」雙重疊加的過程，我們也一直遵循「回饋改進再回饋再改進」的迴圈。目前LP6系列和P6系列已實現HD800、大烏托邦、FW10000、朱鸝、IE900等耳機的優化配置，適配任何一款耳機，一般至少在2-3個月，慢慢調和改很磨人，最終還是希望打磨出最符合大多數用家喜好的調音。

重新優化的「電量顯示」
要想聲音好，類比部分功耗勢必會高。LP6系列採用了分體桌上型電腦思路的多路獨立供電架構以及DAC伺服電源。

這是LP6開發過程中5個主要PCB版本，其中為了伺服電源優化、越分越細的供電等設計，必須把側按鍵從主PCB板上移開，以給類比電路騰出寶貴空間。經過內部結構方案多次重大調整，完全做好供電的LP6終於達到了極低失真兼可驅動大耳的高功率。為控制機身體積和重量，我們在權衡之下採用了4800mAh鋰電供電，續航時間相較L&P 下級型號會相對短一些。原先LP6的電量顯示並不准，因此會有部分使用者出現續航焦慮。在經過兩輪內測之後，我們重新優化的電量顯示可以大幅緩解這一問題。

低音量「響度躍遷」更平滑

這是P6音量、推力響度對照圖示。可以看到，音量55以下時，每檔音量變化是按照0.5到0.8分貝來調整，而在55音量以上檔位元時，每格音量變化高達2分貝。傳統音量系統沒有針對便攜塞子優化，因此實際使用時可能對大耳機來說每格音量變化太小，對耳塞來說每格變化又太大。而P6的音量調節在大部分情況下推耳塞都會聽來「過渡平滑」。這次優化的主要是在8-9格之間音量差相對過大的問題。

P6系列是純硬體音量控制，檔位元要提前算好並固定，由電阻網路和開關組成，而這個衰減網路設計時每微調其中一個電阻值，所有檔位元參數都會變動，需要重新計算和驗證，因此會花費不少功夫。關於P系列電位器的設計優勢，可參考《HIFI設備中的重頭戲，音量模組知識科普》一文。

總結本次兩大系列固件更新明細：
LP6系列新固件特性
① 支援電量顯示（注：更新固件後第一次使用電量顯示會不准，請充滿電後放電乾淨，以免影響後續體驗）；
② 增加Sony IER-Z1R耳塞優化配置；
③ 解決一些相容性問題。

P6系列新固件特性
① 增加Sony IER-Z1R耳塞優化配置；
② 優化低音量尤其是音量8和9之間的聽感體驗；
③ 解決某些1TB TF卡的死機問題；
④ 解決某些DSD256音源的額外雜訊問題；
⑤ 解決某些FLAC文件的相容性問題。

此次發佈L&P R-2R DAP 系列固件對應具體型號為：
P6、P6 PRO、P6 PRO灰曜石
LP6 黃金版、白金版
LP6 TI、LP6TI 七周年

This is great to see them still tweaking to get better usability out of the OS. The only small issue I had personally was the lack of accurate gauge on the battery, looks like this should rectify that

Hi guys, I just got my Grey P6 Pro recently and is really surprised with the sound signature of it It’s such a perfect match with my music library(full of J-pop and some other chinese vocal songs), and I would say the sound signature is just different than any other DAPs I have had before. Cannot wait to re-visit each and every songs in my library with it

Yeah. The Obsidian limited run was tuned by LP at the request of users who missed the vocal centric sound signature of the P6. The black P6Pro was tuned for a broader audience. The Obsidian is indeed spectacular with Asian pop, vocals and acoustic music. Very special indeed.

Indeed it is! The only caution that Wan from LP has is that it likely will require a couple of run down of the battery to be more accurate.

How do people find the Traillii specific tuning?

I recall there were some detractors who were concerned about some loss of treble extension. For myself, I found it to be more nuanced in its mids and trebles. So YMMV.

I can possibly hear some loss in treble extension, but the Z1R could be harsh at times too, so i kinda like the smoother treble if it means a slightly more consistent signature.

I have tried the Trailli one yet - I really like the Bird as is without, but I'll give it a go this week!

I am thinking of pairing mine with Aroma Audio 100TB.
I have heard comments here and there on how sometimes the sound of an r2r dac can diminish with some amplification pair ups.
Does anyone have any experience or thoughts he could share please?

How is it against Sony DMP-Z1?

I have no regrets selling the DMP-Z1, but I think that relates more to the WM1ZM2 than the LP6. I feel the DMP & LP6 are quite different sonically, and could easily coexist in someone’s collection. The LP6 is more revealing and leans more to the analytical side of the tonal spectrum compared to DMP, but that’s not to say it’s analytical in an absolute sense. It’s just really well balanced and natural sounding to my ear, whereas DMP leans more towards a warm, syrupy kind of sound. They trade blows on the technical performance. Both extremely good in that regard. I’d say the general presentation of DMP is a little more laidback whereas LP6 is more holographic and immersive.
