Ah ok, good to hear. Wasn't even aware a new model was coming out. Any details?
It is the successor to LP6, with a completely redesigned audio processing system. They also greatly improve the UX by redesigning the software and utilizing a new gen of MCU.

The price though is gonna be high. LP6 already retails for $4400 and it was first launched in 2018.

You can also use the pull down menu from top of the screen and choose USB Audio.

It does seem to be picky about OTG cable. I used it briefly with DDhifi TC28i (lightening to USB C) with USB-C data cable but I haven't used that setup in a while... @bluestorm1992 and @Kiats have suggested cable in this thread and elsewhere. LP W2 cable is supposed to be a sure one.
The FiiO OTG cables work well.

Hello P6 Pro Owners out there...

I want to try out the specific DSP profiles for the P6 Pro. Is there a list with supported IEMs anywhere? I can only find the Traillii.

Do i need to install the DSP Config bin or is it already installed by default? (FW 1.0.9)

Thanks for your help :)

Yes you need to drop it into the root directory.

I dropped the Traillii DSP file into the root directory, but I can't select it in the sound styles. Is the DSP file supported with latest firmware version?
It has been a while. But I recall I dropped in the most recent DSP file. Which would contain all the sound styles set out in the photo above. :)

I was curious if any of the 6pro owners had tried deleting all metadata via foobar2000 much like the folks in the R2R2000 thread did to get gapless playback, which initially wasn't possible. Could anyone confirm whether this was a possible means to get gapless playback on this system?

I would try, but I don't have one....yet

per the discussion they scrubbed all meta data and were able to eliminate the 1 second lag on playback between tracks. Could be a solution for those looking for gapless playback

After receiving and testing out my Player with a pair of ATH-ANC700BT connected wired to the player and through my NXT-2AK I was pretty happy with just how short the gap between tracks is. Negligible to the point it's really not a issue and doesn't take me out of my head space.

Coming from players like the PCM D-100, Hifiman 901s, Aune M2pro, venturecraft Sundroid 627sm Limited Edition and the Questyle QP2R, I have no issue with the OS included in combination with the touchscreen. Straight forward player that delivers great sound. I look forward to putting it through it's paces once I receive my pair of
UM MEST II tomorrow once I get home from work.

welcome onboard @ExpiredLabel ! The BCD of the UM IEMs do very well with the P6P. Introduces a nice subtle added dimension to the music. :)
