I've stumbled upon similar articles but I've found it's hopeless to disregard popular audio beliefs because someone has set up postulates that prove otherwise. As an example, there is no scientific explanation why a glass interconnect would sound better than a plastic one since every single bit sent from one end to the other regardless of the cable, but I, as well as everyone else who has tried one, can tell you the glass sounds ALOT better.
