Given the whole META42 thing, I don't think I'll ever be needing my Hansen board-based amp, so I'm thinking of selling it. It's built in a black Pac-Tec case (the "traditional" cmoy case) and includes 2 position crossfeed, volume control (no knob though, the faceplate is pretty packed), power switch, LED...
I can supply it either with a clip for a 12V Motorola "bag phone" lead-acid battery, or with the standard 9V battery clip.

If there's enough interest, I'll post pics and/or sell it to the highest bidder...

How about those pictures?
How does the volume control work if there is no knob? Like the Headroom Airheads?

The top and front of the amp: (the little doughnut grommet thing on the top is the LED hole)

The underside:

The underside from a different angle:

Note that I've upgraded the opamps to the OPA2228s, and I photographed it in its current state - with the Motorola battery clip.

Also note that it's one of my first few amps - so the outside appearance is definitely DIY.

$60. However, I'm temporarily withdrawing it, because I just got this really cool case that's *perfect* for it. It needs a new home

OK, it's back up for sale

No, I'm not selling both it and the case separately, I'm selling it IN the case:

It's availible with or without the volume knob. (without looks just like the brass thing on the earlier version)

Also, because of the case, the price just went up $10... You gotta admit it's cool... It looks even better at night! Also, it can be used both like that or "upside down", whichever you prefer.

Note that it will *not* ship until next Monday because I'm going to take it to the local World of Headphones Tour.

Hi, I don't think I'll take it. Nice case, but the other case looked to be a little more portable. Maybe I'm wrong.......?

True, the other one was more portable; but this one is aluminum so it's tougher

Terribly huge it's not, either; the faceplate is 2.5" square and 3" deep.
